Biography

About F. D. McDonald

F. D. McDonald was born in Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa and grew up in Ceylon, now Sri-Lanka. She attended various schools abroad in Ireland and Scotland and went on to study at the Academy of Ballet. Fiona owned a school of dance and later worked for the Scottish Legal Aid Board. Fiona lives in Dalgety Bay in Fife, Scotland. The Abbey and The Reluctant Bridegroom is her third novel with Katie Cameron being her second and her first, Gunfire, a western set in Texas.
